Small Forged Steel Cloak Pin

These unique cloak pins are a miniature version of my original brooch design (https://jen-lipski-fine-art.myshopify.com/collections/blacksmithing/products/forge-twisted-cloak-pin). They are smaller and lighter in weight than my original cloak pins, and feature a slender needle which is perfect for finer fabrics.

Cloak pins, also called Penannular brooches, Viking brooches, or Celtic brooches, were designed to fasten and hold cloaks and other garments securely on the body. Today, they remain in fashion and are a popular choices to accentuate and fasten scarves, shawls, Tartans, costumes, sweaters, bags, and more.

Details:

• These miniature cloak pins are hand forged from 1/8" solid steel bar
• Extra-fine pin (needle) is made from non-tarnishing stainless steel and will not stain or discolor fabric
• Brooch measures approximately 1" in diameter
• The brooch is finished in a natural black Iron scale finish and is coated to protect the metal from rust. Other finishes available upon request, please contact us for details
