On The Prowl is a burned and carved tiger portrait completed during an art retreat in Buckhorn Ontario in 2022. This was the last artwork carved during that particular retreat. The tall and narrow format and close cropping of this artwork is a reaction to the more traditional and mild mannered proportions of her earlier works, cutting back on the decorative qualities of the backgrounds which may take focus away from the personality of the animal
