NEW Twisting Steel - Forged Coat Hooks Workshop
Experience level: suitable for beginners
Duration: 2-3 hours
Have you ever thought about trying Blacksmithing? This beginner's forging workshop is a fun way to try out this ancient art while making something totally unique and functional for your home!
In this simple hands-on course you will learn how to twist red-hot steel into your choice of pattern. Participants will learn about different twisting styles and have the opportunity to try making their favorite twist from the samples provided. Once you have finished creating your twist pattern, you will also learn how to forge your metal into a fully functional coat hook to take home. This workshop will take about 2-3 hours to complete and you will be guided through each step by Artist/Blacksmith JenLipski.
This is a beginner's workshop, so no experience is necessary (however you must be able to lift and use a hammer)
