Fire Poker Workshop

Experience level: suitable for beginners (this workshop does require a significant amount of hammering)

Duration: 3-4 hours

In this workshop you will work hands-on with artist Jen Lipski to forge your own custom fire poker using traditional blacksmithing techniques. You will have the opportunity to twist and shape your steel, hammering it out into your own unique tool. The fire pokers are forged from 3/8 inch thick Steel and end up approximately 24 - 28" long (with an option to upgrade to a longer poker). This workshop will take about 3-4 hours and afterwards you can take your new fire poker home with you.

No prior experience is necessary (however this Workshop requires a significant amount of hammering so moderate physical strength is required)

Registering for a specific workshop date guarantees entry into that workshop (spaces are limited)

General Admission: Valid for admission into any public workshop date of your choosing (space-permitting) so you can buy now and choose your date later - perfect for gift-giving! This ticket also gives you advanced notice and priority registration in new workshop dates added to the schedule. (Choose this option if all currently scheduled workshop dates are full)
