Twisting Iron - Keychain Workshop

This unique beginner's workshop is a fun way to try out the ancient art of blacksmithing while making something totally unique to take home! Learn how to twist red-hot metal into your own unique pattern in under 2 hours!

This class is about more than just twisting metal, in this workshop we are using specific tricks and techniques to create special patterns in the steel. In each session of this class we will focus on creating a specific specialty twist, so every class will make a slightly different design! Join us once for a unique souvenir, or join every class to learn how to create a wide variety of unique patterns!

Working hands on with artist Jen Lipski, you will learn how to twist your own iron pendant using traditional blacksmithing techniques. No prior experience is required. This short workshop is perfect for all ages and does not require a significant amount of hammering

Registering for a specific workshop date guarantees entry into that workshop (spaces are limited). Each workshop date focuses on a particular twist style, see each class date for more information or contact us if you have questions!

This ticket also gives you advanced notice and priority registration in new workshop dates added to the schedule. Private Booking: Groups of 4 or more can arrange a custom workshop date to fit your schedule. Contact us to arrange the details! Each ticket admits one into the workshop (if you are not purchasing tickets together please let us know what group you are joining). Private groups can arrange to learn whichever twist style they prefer!
