Experience level: suitable for beginners
Duration: 8 hours
In this foundations level blacksmithing class students will learn the principles of blacksmithing with a focus on skills development and technical instruction. Unlike our shorter project-based workshops, students in this class will learn to work independently while developing hammer and tong control. This full-day course teaches a variety of traditional techniques as students learn to craft multiple beginners level projects, and is intended for participants who are interested in developing their skills as beginner blacksmiths. No prior experience is required for this course
Since students will be working independently in this class, no more than 5 students will be allowed to participate at a time. A minimum of three students will be required for this class to run, if you would like to participate but are not available on our currently scheduled dates please contact us to discuss additional availability!
