Beginner's Blacksmithing Experience (Simplified Workshop)

Experience level: suitable for beginners (this is a simplified version of our regular beginners classes, and is suitable for a wider range of ages and abilities)

Duration: 1-2 hours

Try out the ancient art of blacksmithing for the first time with this simple and hands-on forging workshop! In this short introductory course you will choose your project design from the samples provided and learn to hammer it out from start to finish. This workshop will take approximately 1-2 hours to complete and afterwards you get to take your new piece of ironwork home with you!

This is a beginner's workshop, so no prior experience is necessary. This class is a simplified version of our full workshops and is suitable for most ages and abilities! In this class you will receive help directly from the Artist to complete your project, so if you are not sure if you are ready to take on a full workshop this class is the perfect place to start! (Please note that you are not required to take this class before registering for any of our other beginners level workshops)

Registering for a specific workshop date guarantees entry into that workshop (spaces are limited)

General Admission: Valid for admission into any public workshop date of your choosing (space-permitting) so you can buy now and choose your date later - perfect for gift-giving! Unlike our other workshops, this unique experience typically runs on Friday afternoons, however some weekend dates are also occasionally available. This ticket gives you advanced notice and priority registration when new workshop dates added to the schedule. (Choose this option if all currently scheduled workshop dates are full)

This workshop can also be booked for private groups of 4-8 participants. Private group bookings can be scheduled for any day of the week when we have the time available!
