Forged Cloak Pin Workshop

Duration: 2-3 hours

In this fun and simple blacksmithing class you will be working hands-on with artist Jen Lipski to forge your own custom shawl pin. Also known as a cloak pin, tartan pin, or Penannular brooch, these Celtic-inspired pins are the original safety pin! Use them as a decorative way to securely fasten loose scarves, shawls, blankets, and other layered fabrics. This workshop is about 2-3 hours long and afterwards you can take your new piece of functional jewellery home with you!

This is an intro level workshop, so no past experience is required. Hand-forged shawl pins are also available for purchase here!
